Linyi Wei Willow recognises that its business activities can have an impact on the environment. As a business we are committed to ensuring that wherever possible we will work to reduce this impact.

We are working towards the continuous improvement of our environmental policy by developing systems to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment.

Willow is a fast-growing perennial, absorbing carbon from the atmosphere as it grows; it can be easily and safely harvested, from a stump in withy beds which will immediately start re-growing without the need for ploughing and planting.

Most of our willow products are completely biodegradable, they are made entirely of willow and local native timber.

Some of our products (hampers) have handles and hinges added, which can easily be removed, metal fasteners can be recycled and we are working on making the leatherette from a more sustainable/ recyclable material.

We ship our goods by container load and encourage customers to have a mixture of products in order to fill the container as efficiently as possible. Packing smaller baskets inside larger ones.

We are currently looking at better options to protect glassware and china in our hampers, as well as an alternative wrapping material to protect the baskets on their long container journey.
