Due to the fact the partners of Home Products Basketware own both companies it will increasingly give us advantages over other importers, as follows: 1. This year is the 50th year since Home Products Basketware was founded. In the early years the business was run from home and the range we offered included stoneware, kitchenware and even toy pigs, sheep and cows. Within a few years the business outgrew the house and we awoke one day to find a planning officer walking round the house. He delivered a friendly warning that our business operation was not acceptable to be run from a private residence. We began searching the area for suitable premises and eventually The Watermill became available and we have steadily expanded the business from here. Around this time we realised that baskets required our full attention and we dropped the peripheral items and concentrated on the baskets. The invervening years have not been without their dramas, but we are pleased to report that our business is in very good shape for the challenges ahead.
